Overview

SimpleGoose, Inc. (“SimpleGoose,” “we,” “us”) builds the Inference Control Plane (ICP), software that runs entirely within your cloud environment. This privacy policy explains how we handle data in connection with our website and our software product.

ICP Software — Your Data Stays in Your Cloud

ICP deploys inside your VPC and runs on your infrastructure. We designed ICP with a zero-exfiltration architecture:

  • Inference payloads (prompts, completions) pass through ICP in memory only. They are never persisted by ICP and never transmitted outside your environment.
  • Decision traces store only metadata: token counts, task type, backend selected, cost estimates, and routing decisions. Payloads are redacted before trace storage.
  • Credentials for your AI backends (AWS, Azure, GCP) are stored in your Kubernetes secrets. ICP references them by name and never copies credential values into its own storage.
  • No telemetry is sent to SimpleGoose. There are no analytics callbacks, no usage beacons, and no phone-home behavior. All observability data stays in your environment.
  • Marketplace metering is the only external communication. Usage counts (number of routed requests) are reported to the cloud marketplace (AWS/Azure/GCP) for billing. This data contains no inference content.

You can verify this architecture by deploying a Kubernetes NetworkPolicy that blocks all egress from ICP pods except your cloud provider endpoints and the marketplace metering API. ICP will continue to function normally.

Website Data Collection

When you visit simplegoose.com, we may collect:

  • Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.
  • Information you voluntarily provide via contact forms or email.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Website server logs are retained for 90 days. Contact form submissions are retained until you request deletion. ICP software does not transmit any data to SimpleGoose, so there is nothing for us to retain from your use of the product.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. For ICP software data, all data resides in your environment — you have full control without needing to contact us.
